I like literature. But you can't call crosswords literature, right? Poetry is a pastime just like crosswords, only it's not fun.

I must admit that poetry, in my opinion, is an incredibly boring and overelaborated means of expressing yourself. If ever I feel particularly pissed off about something, I'd usually inform someone about it, and in that way, express myself. Conveying such thoughts and emotions onto paper is just far to monotonous, and if ever I was to make an attempt at illustrating the feelings that I possess about something in particular, I'd incorporate it into a fictitious story, so as to express myself, while successfully concieving an interesting story (leaving the reader to interpret as much of the representations as they see fit).

But again, this is simply personal opinion. There are also many benefits associated with poems, like the fact that they were the means by which people were able to demonstrate their contempt and loathing for the hostility and violence during the period of World War 1 and 2.
I suppose that such a preference is dependant on the individual.

Well considering english literature is my best subject, i should technically be offended at how everyones discrediting poetry. However, i feel that its because i share your objectivity of the art that im good at it. The whole subject revolves around the words "could" and "might", meaning you can just about write anything so long as you can back it up with evidence.

Wisdom teeth don't have much to do with your teeth's condition. It's more of how you're structured, as if they grow they can push other teeth out of the way. Most people need em taken out,r egardless of how well tey take care of themsevles.

Yeah, this problem is similar to that suffered by those whom need to get their appendix removed. Regardless of how they compose themselves, if something goes wrong, the appendix would need to be removed immediately (like with what happened to my brother. Not everyone suffers from a bad appendix, like not everyone suffers from having widsom teeth develop in an awkward position. But should such a circumstance arise then it needs to be rectified, which can be painful.)

I'm getting prepared to go off on a little clothes shopping session with my two brothers and Dad *grumble grumble*. Personally I hate shopping for anything apart from dvds and games...and those I normally buy online...gah.

IRT Cata: I have nothing against english poetry. Only hungarian.

Like lyrics are poems as well, and I Love to learn the lyrics of my favourite songs, and sing them out loud. Of course that's what I want and like, so it's different... but the hungarian poetry just sucks, I don't even understand what the writer wants to tell. I'm quite sure I'd like to learn poems in english much more.

IRT Xel: Lol, watch out for painkiller overdose next time...

IRT N: Yikes, get well soon dude. I really hope nothing will go wrong with mine growing... x_X I really hate my teeth, lol, one more filling and all of my teeth are okay... I hope, I don't wanna visit the dentist anytime soon after that.

IRT Raij: For some kinda weird reason, I like shopping/plaza visits (real rare) and stuff like that with family... opportunities tog et new stuff xD
